Hello everybody. I'm back and ready for the reflections! During my break I decided to start a six month mostly black and white project over at my Something Sighted blog. Hopefully I'll be able to improve my black and white photo skills during that time. When that project is finished I'll start another project that I'm really, really looking forward to (more details to follow). :)

Hi James, this is so creative. How'd you do that with the B/W refelction?
ReplyDeleteIt is great that you can start a project. This is very remarkable!
One can find both visual and mental reflections in this one. A great find.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you back James!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a creative reflection. I am looking forward to your B & W project.
Enjoy your weekend.
Sunny :)
Exellent work. I am going to have to try this sort of thing. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteThis picture is one of my favorites of all time!!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteWonderful reflection and I love the combination of colour and black and white. Hope you have a good weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful B/W shot and a lovely subject. Looking forward to see future photos from your new project.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Oh, this is just good in so many ways! Love it.
ReplyDeletewhat a great photo...love the b&w inside colour, but what really stands out is that you're taking the photo from the car...but no road is in sight just the grass & parking lot. (is it?)
ReplyDeleteI am so amazed with this! First of all, the car was parked exactly in the right place to reflect the horse and buggy so perfectly, nothing is left out. Secondly...the black and white separated from the color! I am so impressed! Very very good, James!
ReplyDeleteThis is just a perfect reflection shot, James! How many hundreds of years between the two vehicles do you figure? :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend! I can't join again this week but I hope to do so when I get back to my regular programming.
This is wonderful. Great job James.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations James, it is a beautiful b&w "idea"and your reflection is amazing!

Delightful reflection! I am enjoying your tour of PA farm country.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Sir. Glad you are back. Your project sounds wonderful. :) I can't wait to take the ride with ya on it. This photo is excellent. I dunno how you mix color with black and white but it's beautiful. Well done :) Have a great Friday :0

ReplyDeleteWonderful reflections, nice shot ;)
ReplyDeleteSuperb! I love how you emphasized the old-time feeling in black and white.
ReplyDeleteWell taken but also well processed to fit in with your new project, James. That will take the second project to a starting point about the end of the year. I am looking forward to seeing what you have in mind.

James, I'm sorry, I think I've done it again, would you mind deleting #49? I entered my entire blog address on that one, instead of just the posting. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteWow. Looks like you have a haunted wing-mirror. I like it.
ReplyDelete--is that a time travel mirror?
ReplyDeleteOne of the best pieces I've see.
Excellent study in contrasts, James!
ReplyDeleteIt is the artistic moment when past and present is mixed.
ReplyDeleteI learned splendor of the photography from this work.
From the Far East.

ReplyDeleteDate Night
Love the mono framing and the touch of colour background!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding shot James! I really like the juxtaposition of color and B&W, of new and old. Perfect framing. Ya done good!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm late today. I was out on my bicycle for hours today. Went for a long ride to visit my mother. I had one of my Nikons with me but I wasn't in the mood so I didn't take a single picture.
We live in Amish country, but I never thought of this! Excellant James.
