After I had a blood test the other day I noticed a farm next to the medical building. I happened to have a camera in my pocket so I took a few shots. Most of the colorful leaves around Newtown have fallen already but the tree in the top photo still has some.
Happy Thanksgiving!
The last colours are still quite impressive. Merry Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteWonderful colors. Happy thanksgiving to you too James.
ReplyDeletewow! gorgeous color! & I love the feel of the old farm in B&W.
ReplyDeleteHope your test is all good.
Happy Thanksgiving James.
: )
There are a few red maples hanging on and their color is spectacular. Nice!!
ReplyDeleteA stunning shot. Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, James! Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenes both. Each with their own mood. I love the architecture of the house, the lack of sidewalks, and the framing created by all the colorful leaves. The second is equally wonderful, the low horizon and that leafless tree on the right jutting into the vast sky.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your exceptional photos of places familiar and foreign. And thank you for introducing me to the beauty of reflections. It's been a privilege to navigate the blogosphere in your company!
Oh, I almost forgot. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteGreat photographs again James.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you too.

ReplyDeleteI first thought it was a cruel before/after shot! The first picture shows the wonderful beauty of autumn, the second one its sadder side..
ReplyDeleteHope the test was good!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Bonjour James!
ReplyDeleteAdorable Autumn leaves and beautiful colours in your first composition, my favorite!
I wish you a lovely day, happy Thanksgiving!

fantastic shots. there is something about the second one that holds my attention. here all the leaves have been gone for quite a while and everything is dull, dead and drab. but gotta love the seasons of Michigan!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!
Happy Thanksgiving! What gorgeous colours! I like the b & w, too!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are stunning - ours just kind of dropped without being pretty this year. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteHi, molto bella la foto n° 1
ReplyDeleteFantastici colori.
Felice giorno del ringraziamento.
Buona giornata :)
Myriam
Hey James, I'm slow this week, but better late than never...
ReplyDeleteFine fall golden leaves there ! Believe it or not, I drove home from work in the wee hours of the morning last night in a raging snowstorm. Ususally it hardly ever snows here, so snow in November is strange. So much for global warming.
Happy Thanksgiving James... Those pretty last leaves are still more colorful than any leaves we have here.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Thanksgiving James! Welcome back! Your first photo is very, very beautiful! All those leaves are like golden coins. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletelots of great colors, love the framing, too!
ReplyDeleteAmazing colours!
ReplyDeleteThose colors are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe colors in the top shot just blew me away! Wow. I also like the vintage look in the bottom shot.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall foliage! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the autumn colors and we love the b/w shot too.
