ReplyDeleteHey James, looks like a great place... is it near Newtown ??? The conveyor going up to the top floor on this one is fairly short and quite steep. While I was in PA in September I found another site sort of like this but much bigger. The coal conveyor structure to the 11th floor was many times longer and ran at less steep angle... I went all the way up the old conveyor to the top of the building, then came down through the inside... an adventure ! All above comments are entirely justified, this is gorgeous in b&w...

I'm with everyone else. I love this shot and the choice of black and white suits the subject and mood beautifully. It's great you have such a wide appreciation for photographic subject matter. The mental and physical sense of movement through time and space always speaks to me through your work.
