A Clothesline in Venice (Weekend Reflections # 156)

Venice, Italy

It wasn't the best time of day for photography but here's my version of the obligatory Venice clothesline photo.

Good riddance to summer and hello fall!!!! :-)

    I just love how the pink of the wall and the grey blue of the water are contrasting... Excellent shot.

    You (of all people) must have to super-size your camera's memory card when you visit Venice—the world's best city for reflections. I love this one.

    Obligatory clothesline! It works for me. Tough light, but when in Venice, one must make it work all the time. I like the image very much and think it quite clever. Happy weekend James.

    Fabulous, you can feel the hanging clothes flapping in the breeze... or is it just the rippling water giving the illusion of motion ?

    I love your unique take on the Venice clothesline! The color of the bricks against the strip of reflected blue sky is very striking. I'd like to be that guy in the little boat about to go under the arch...
