As a city for reflections, Venice must be the queen! Your artistry with the canal reflection is superb. Even laundry on the line is charming!
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
You (of all people) must have to super-size your camera's memory card when you visit Venice—the world's best city for reflections. I love this one.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Genie, Venice is surely the queen of reflections! What a fun, great shot for the day, James! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks as always for the weekend fun!!

ReplyDeleteObligatory clothesline! It works for me. Tough light, but when in Venice, one must make it work all the time. I like the image very much and think it quite clever. Happy weekend James.
ReplyDeleteYou are making me love Venice. I must go there someday, the sooner the better.

I miss the summer - bring back the heat! :)
ReplyDeleteVery creative way to catch the ubiquitous Italian clothsline. Love it!
Gorgeous shot, James. We're going to be there in early March, which might not be catching Venice at her best, but we'll be taking photos nonetheless.

Awesome reflection. I love your shots.
ReplyDeleteFabulous, you can feel the hanging clothes flapping in the breeze... or is it just the rippling water giving the illusion of motion ?
ReplyDeleteFor an obligatory photo, you nailed it...
C'est superbe!
ReplyDeleteTrès réussi même si le moment de la journée n'était pas le meilleur!
Bravo Jame!
Merci pour le partage. Et merci pour tes visites et petits mots sympas;o)

Bonne semaine****
I love your unique take on the Venice clothesline! The color of the bricks against the strip of reflected blue sky is very striking. I'd like to be that guy in the little boat about to go under the arch...
ReplyDeleteI say good bye Summer and hello to Fall myself! Richard
