La Reflection-teria (Weekend Reflections # 279)

Florence, Italy                               at night

This woman was too interested in the gelato to notice the two reflections right next to her. Reflected advertisements for Carrera and Fendi sunglasses. Unfortunately for her the gelato shop was already closed.

I hope you have an excellent weekend!

This is the place to see and share reflections. Click the rules tab above for more information.
A Reflection =  An image given back by a reflecting surface.  A PHOTOGRAPH of a REFLECTION.
Please don't link written reflection posts or photos that don't have reflections. Thanks!

  1. I confess, I might have been paying more attention to the Gelato too! It's been many years since I had the real Italian stuff while walking the cobblestones... Just a note to thank you for this link up. I love all the things that pop out to me because I have the notion of "reflections" always in the back of my mind. A true journey of discovery that I so enjoy!

  2. It has a great "Big Brother is Watching" feel. That guy really has his eye on her!

  3. Oh no! There's nothing worse than not being able to get an ice cream when you desperately want one :)

  4. I love the reflections. The design your own ice cream sounds good too.

  6. Poor lady must have been confused by all the sensory overload. I'm off gelato for the moment as I am losing weight and that would really kill my diet!

  11. Quand on voit écrit Gelateria on pense toujours à l'Italie et à ses bonnes glaces: quel dommage que la boutique soit fermée !

  12. Who could blame her ... like the child with her nose pressed up against the candy shop window ... gelato surely takes precedense over a mere reflection. Wonderful, charming capture, James ...

  18. I like the your clever play with reflection...and the way the man seems to be watching over, maybe guarding..the gelato. I can imagine how she feels too:)
