This woman was too interested in the gelato to notice the two reflections right next to her. Reflected advertisements for Carrera and Fendi sunglasses. Unfortunately for her the gelato shop was already closed.
I hope you have an excellent weekend!
This is the place to see and share reflections. Click the rules tab above for more information.
A Reflection = An image given back by a reflecting surface. A PHOTOGRAPH of a REFLECTION.
Please don't link written reflection posts or photos that don't have reflections. Thanks!
I confess, I might have been paying more attention to the Gelato too! It's been many years since I had the real Italian stuff while walking the cobblestones... Just a note to thank you for this link up. I love all the things that pop out to me because I have the notion of "reflections" always in the back of my mind. A true journey of discovery that I so enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt has a great "Big Brother is Watching" feel. That guy really has his eye on her!
ReplyDeleteOh no! There's nothing worse than not being able to get an ice cream when you desperately want one :)
ReplyDeletefaces all around!
ReplyDeleteI love the reflections. The design your own ice cream sounds good too.
ReplyDeleteJust dreaming aout what she missed! Great story, great reflection!
ReplyDeletePoor lady must have been confused by all the sensory overload. I'm off gelato for the moment as I am losing weight and that would really kill my diet!
ReplyDeletethose reflections are rather eerie! I have had gelato only once...and yummy it was!
ReplyDeleteWas the shop with the sunglasses still open??? Na, that would be my " gelato"!
ReplyDeleteYes, gelato and prosciutto with mozzarella cheese are my fave food in Italy... and these Gelaterias can be closed early!
ReplyDeleteYeah! "eye catching reflections"! I would have been more interested in the Gelato as well...:)JP
ReplyDeleteQuand on voit écrit Gelateria on pense toujours à l'Italie et à ses bonnes glaces: quel dommage que la boutique soit fermée !
ReplyDeletebon week-end,
Ava
Who could blame her ... like the child with her nose pressed up against the candy shop window ... gelato surely takes precedense over a mere reflection. Wonderful, charming capture, James ...
ReplyDeleteAndrea @ From The Sol
This is the start of a thriller, right?
ReplyDeleteYep, I'd also be "eyeing" off the gelati, trusting I was wearing the right glasses!! Another fun post James. Happy weekend to you.
ReplyDeleteCool shop.
ReplyDeleteLooks like bieb looking inside but she was not in Italy recently as far as I know. Last time 2012.
ReplyDeletea great reflection with the woman standing there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting WR :)
I'm a day late, but you photo takes me right back to my fave town for gelato. Have you been to Vivoli?
ReplyDeletewounderful reflection
ReplyDeleteI like the your clever play with reflection...and the way the man seems to be watching over, maybe guarding..the gelato. I can imagine how she feels too:)
ReplyDeleteUne paire de lunettes pour bien ouvrir les yeux ???
