Stockton, New Jersey
This is a reflection of an old mill that dates back to 1720. It's on the New Jersey side of the Delaware River.
Starting next week Weekend Reflections will be on auto-pilot.
I'll be away until December 16th. I'm bringing my phone but I'm not sure how much internet service I'll have access to.
Happy Reflecting!

A Reflection = An
image given back by a reflecting surface. A PHOTOGRAPH of a REFLECTION or REFLECTIONS.
That reflection has the quality of an excellent old oil painting!
ReplyDeleteWater never fails does it? - whether murky or clear reflections are always there. It's wonderful. Hope your trip will be of the kind to make you happy (and with lots of photographic opportunity!) Lucy
ReplyDeleteOh wow - this is a new favorite!! Agree 100% with kenneth's comment - and love that even the red of the wood in the window panes comes through! And, of course, the floating leaves...wonderful! Happy adventuring!
ReplyDeleteLove the old mill reflection. Enjoy your month away...if it is business or pleasure!
ReplyDeleteMonet comes to mind! Happy travels James, stay safe..
ReplyDeleteI had the same thought—looks like a fine painting. We'll miss you. See you (so to speak) in December.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves on the surface of the water provide another dimension to the reflection - especially the one in the middle of a window! Really like this!
