Florence, Italy
This is one of those times when you probably had to be there to know exactly what you're looking at. So I'll try to explain.
(My wife couldn't see the floating man until I showed her)
This is a reflection in a shop window. I was outside looking in. The easiest explanation is that everything in this photo is a reflection except for the strange man in the fetal position who seems to be floating above the reflected parked cars. Can you see him? His head is bent downward and seemingly resting on the nearest car with his bent knees on the second car while his foot seems to be pointing toward the man walking up the street. The floating man is not a reflection and he's not real either. The shop was closed, but I'm guessing it was an art gallery and the man hanging from the ceiling was part of an art installation.
Have a great weekend!

Well I never!! I* saw the stop on the road was a reflection but I have still to work out the rest. Thanks for the explanation. I am going to copy the shot and zoom in to see what you are talking about. Thanks for hosting. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your explanation. It helped see the floating man. There is another reflection in the traffic mirror on the right side.
ReplyDeleteOK I got it but it seems the man's figure was partially outlined with a felt marker. Probably part of the floating art work.
ReplyDeleteYou are following W. Mumler's footsteps. I like that.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's very cool! Perfectly positioned!
ReplyDeleteA perfect reflection James. If you renamed the white cloud above the cars to "the man in fetal position" we are talking about the same:) Have a great weekend, and a happy Thanksgiving to you, since your meme is a day later.
ReplyDeleteNice one, clever getting the right angles to catch it. The guy was sizing them up looking for one to steal. I hope they had enough warning to get cars out before they flooded.
ReplyDelete..
That is too weird!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the explanation. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteI would have never seen this man. The reflection is so clear-
ReplyDeleteThat was a twicky one James :)
