London, England
The women and the Art Nouveau poster were reflected in a mirror inside of Brasserie Zédel.
The poster is an 1899 soap advertisement. The soap was called "Savon Blanche Leigh." The only Blanche I've known was my grandmother. I guess it's a name from the past. I should mention that the gold line that runs across the women is a hand rail for stairs and is not a reflection.
Have a great weekend!

The neon sign in your reflection shot must be a reflection of a reflection because the writing is not backwards. Love the subtle tones of your photo.
ReplyDeleteBlanche: un très joli prénom. Je n'en connais aucune à part Blanche de Castille... par contre je connais une Bianca, la version italienne.
ReplyDeleteLe style de ta photo va très bien avec cette publicité.
Joyeux week-end!
Yes, I was trying to figure out why the restaurant's neon sign does not read backwards. Guessing it is reflecting on the mirror from the inside of a window which faces the street, so that it is reversed from the inside view and thus restored in the reflection. Nice effects!
ReplyDeleteVoilà un très subtil jeu de reflets. j'aime beaucoup quand on se perd dans les reflets de reflets. Les couleurs chaudes de ta photo donnent envie d'être dans cet endroit ou dans son envers, c'est selon.
ReplyDeleteI like the photo... unposed and natural.
ReplyDeleteNice. Blanche means white, so it means Leigh's White Soap. Doesn't sound as good, does it?
ReplyDeleteI like the poster and the two ladies in front of it. Perfect picture and reflection.
ReplyDeleteA happy Thanksgiving to you and your wife, James! The weather there may still be warm, the the turkey will hopefully be as tasty!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo and reflection. Well done!
