Lyon, France
People really seem to enjoy themselves in Lyon. I'd love to live there. I'd even wear one of those coats. 😎
Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.
Please no posed pictures, portraits, animals etc. unless of course there is a reflection.
Click here for street photography examples and inspiration.
"Street photography, a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge."
A fun picture! And it seems that your presence has not gone unnoticed.
ReplyDeleteThe folks inside the restaurant all seem to be looking at you while those nearest don't even know you are there. (Mr Linky has blown you off today).
ReplyDeleteNever been to Lyon, so I don't know what kind of a city life there is. Don't know if the photo of the open market on my blog falls withing the bounds of street photography (am still not quite sure what is, and what isn't), the boats in the harbor give reflections!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Valentine weekend, Jesh
Lovely Lyon.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shot, I like their coats. btw no mr linky
ReplyDeleteJames, this photo has it all, interesting street action, reflections, and great light. Too bad Mr. Linky is not there.
ReplyDeleteWonderful engaging scene. Congratulations on broadening your criteria for this link up. It's hard to find reflections every week, but streets are forever. Best wishes & Aloha
ReplyDeleteat present James but basically are on lockdown so street photography is out so I am glad you kept reflections. I wonder how close would you have had to get to that pair before they saw you. Thanks for hosting, stay safe and have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteNice street scene...
ReplyDeleteSome of the people aren't too happy to see you!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, and if you do move in and get the coat, please be sure to share a selfie with us :)
Happy weekend, James
Nice big glass reflecting for us. Thank you, James.
ReplyDeleteI too could live easily in Lyon. My favorite is the Provence area though.
..
Is the title the name of the restaurant or are you imputing these ladies? (LOL)
ReplyDeletePeople having fun, nice to see, hope those times will return here soon...
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. About Lyon I have good memories. Al cars parked underground in stunning architectual designed parkings and the restaurants are really superb. Nice city and that archeological museum along the mountainside.I loved it.
ReplyDeleteLove this shot. Those bright orange pants really caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree I wish we'd spent more time in Lyon. Also wish our hotel had been closer to the centre.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes I would wear that coat too!
Actually, a "cougar" in french is an mature woman who likes men much younger than she is. those girls are far too young to be cougars! But the picture is great anyway, especially because of the look of the people behind the window, who saw you taking the pic.
