At first glance were you able to tell that this is a reflection? Look again. With the exception of some tiny things floating on the water this is all a reflection. It looks like I even captured the reflections of some shadows on the leaves if that's possible. :)
I turned this photo upright for better viewing.

A Beautiful Day
We've had heatwave after heatwave in Newtown this summer but the temperature dropped below 90F so I decided to step out and take a few shots the other day. I wish I knew what type of plant is growing here?
Does anyone else think the cloud looks like the side view of an anglerfish swiming toward the left?

Looking Down at the Sky (Weekend Reflections # 44)
This is a puddle in the middle of the woods reflecting the trees and the sky above. The cloud's reflection was visible in the puddle for only a few seconds and then it was gone.
I'm sorry that I haven't had much time for blogging or for taking pictures lately. I turned off the comments this week for that reason. Hopefully next week will be different. Have a Great weekend and I hope you enjoy Weekend Reflections! :)

Everything in this photo is a water reflection.

Reflections under the Dragonfly (Weekend Reflections #43)
Malyss said she was curious to see what was on the other side of the bridge in my Weekend Reflections #41 post. There was a dragonfly on a branch that was sticking out of the water. I opened up the aperture and zoomed in as much as I could. I like the look of the sun reflecting on the water beneath the dragonfly.

A Troll's view (Weekend Reflections # 42)
This is different type of bridge reflection. I was under the bridge taking pictures of this reflection when I heard a couple walking and talking on the bridge above me. I was reminded of the stories that I heard as a boy about trolls under bridges. This time it was only me trolling for reflections. With the exception of the leaves in the top left corner and some floating patches of algae every thing in this photo is a reflection on the water. I turned it upside down because I think it looks better this way.

Where the Vultures Roam
I love this old barn and the little building next to it with the tree growing ot of it. Several vultures flew out of the barn just before I took this picture. Click here if you would like a closer look and a different angle in black and white.
It's 100 F/38 C and humid in Newtown today I hope it's cooler where you are.
