This photo was taken last week in Glenside Pennsylvania after a doctor appointment. I brought my camera because I planned on driving around afterward to see if I could find something interesting to photograph. When I saw this unusual row of old buildings I parked on the side of the road and took a few pictures. Then I got home and started experimenting with "Elements 7"
The rules are below:
1. Open the fourth file where you store your photos.
2. Pick the 4th photo.
3 . Explain the photo.
4. Pass challenge onto 4 other bloggers.

I'm not much into following rules, but I think this sounds fun. I invite anyone who wants to do this to go for it, then let me know so I can see.
I hope everybody is a having a great long weekend!

Great shot James. I thought we only have those electric wires here:).
Its a long weekend here too.
Enjoy!
I like all the various store fronts. Are these seperate buildings or are they all attached?
Sunny :)
Lucky choice, nice row of typical building. Like the colors and the wires. The strangest thing is the double orange strip of the road. Nice effect.
Very cool row of buildings to be sure, and they look like they have a slant to them, great perspective shot, colors are enhanced for a really neat effect.
Spectacular photos, James
Great shot!
If I get caught up today, I will play along!!
My camera is like an AMEX card, I never leave home without it! (Now the memory card.... sometimes I forget that! ARGH!)
The rank of houses is interesting to discover, and it's funny to see that it is like underlined by those two orange lines..Sometimes, that's when we don't care so much that we do the best pictures..
James,
Fantastic Photo! :) I played this game back in Jan. It was fun. Go to my January 14th post... If you are interested. Have a great holiday weekend!

I like this photo. Interesting that there was not traffic and no parked cars.
Cool row of buildings. All different yet alike if that makes sense.
This a great find for the challenge. I love the angles and the symmetry of the buildings.
I think you are having the cool weather now, huh? It is still hot here. Have a great and safe holiday weekend!
My main blog is here.
I like the old store fronts and the colors. I wonder if people live above them.
That is a great looking row of old buildings! I wouldn't have been able to resist taking a picture of them myself.
Nice siblings... :)
God bless you!

I like your photo, challenge or not - I love Americana kind of photos. The scene reminds me of Manville, NJ. I guess a lot of American towns look like that.
I took up your challenge.
Fantastic and lovely shot !! Thanks for sharing..Unseen Rajasthan
The old store fronts looks very special :))
Great shot !!
Great photo. Mine is up HERE. Have a great Sunday :)
What a nice shot. It looks like a place I would like to stop and browse at.
Nicely done, James. I like what you did with this...I use that effect sometimes and it usually works out well.
Bing!!
My head flipped back to my childhood when all we ate for breakfast was Kelloggs Corn Flakes. And for a while, they had diagrams of western towns on the back panel for us to cut and fold and plonk in the dirt outside and pretend to be Wyatt etc. My brothers and I had very complex towns and entire communities. Nowadays I guess they just download SimCity or some such.
I prefer our version ...
