Murder at the Mikvah

It was cloudy with a bit of rain on this day, but it made a nice background for this abandoned building. Why the title? Because I like the way it sounds. :-)
Has anyone read the book?

I like this one. It all ties in; the dark sky, abandoned building...and ya can't miss the bill-board, heh. This just screams "murder mystery"! Haven't read the book but think I'll ckeck out the site! Thanks :)

Must have been a really happening building in it's time I guess. That's the genre of book I always like to read :-)

Hopefully someone will renovate the old building, it must be good for something!

I must admit that I first read it as "Murder for sale" :-)

I liked that one - it might even have been called "Murder of a house".

PS Thank you for the comment! BTW, I have not even heard about the book, but that says most about me...

No, but it provides the perfect title for your abandoned building under a dark sky!

a very interesting capture. good eye. Thanks for your comments on my site about the photos from my photography tour to Vermillion Cliffs and Slot Canyons. I have many more coming up and the slot canyon photos are truly amazing. It was quite a trip.

I hope at some point this building will be restored, it looks so nice and would be a pity to remain abandoned!
God bless you!

My eye was instantly attracted to the abandoned building, James. The many and varied ways in which the glass has been shattered intruiges me. I would have had to find a little niche through which to squeeze and to go exploring ... gingerly!

I love the abandoned building against the gloomy sky. It looks like it was an important building in its heyday. It makes me wonder how it ended up like this.

I like the building. So many of these old building are empty, here in the northeast too. It would be nice one day to see them renovated and occupied.

That is very scary building - big - looks like a Hollywood movie about the world after people :)
If you start reflections meme - I sure will find something for you!

What a great title - but I wonder if the writing will just disappoint me. You do discover such interesting things.

Great picture -- However I read the book A+

This writer is going places - I would not be surprised if a movie deal for this story is in the works.

You are so right that this sky setting so fits the picture. Wonderful :)

Hi James,

I haven't heard from you, and we really want to use your photo to illustrate this article at Tablet Magazine, so I'm going to grab it for now, but if this isn't okay with you, please do let me know as soon as possible, and we can remove it.

Thanks again
