I'm featuring buildings made of bricks at my Something Sighted blog and I plan on featuring Princeton University in most of my posts here this week.Princeton is such a historic and wonderful place to see. Many of the buildings are decorated with beautiful stone carvings. I hope you enjoy the series.

These look cool. Very artistic! Reminds me of the delwara temples in India's Gujarat State.
What amazing architecture and to think of the workmanship in constructing these buildings. They are a work of art.

What beautiful skilled work these are... I see lots of carvings on our buildings.... mostly churches... but ours have been attacked by air born pollutents over the last 150 years and many of the carvings are just outlines now... the details eat away by the acid in the rain.
I've checked all Princeton posts. The architecture is fantastic and so are your photos!

I remember I had a professor in college back home in Bulgaria. The man attended Princeton - he started every sentence with "When I was in Princeton" - we the student used to call him George /that was his name/ Princeton the Third :)
