If you enlarge the top photo you might recognize the
four eagles on the left building from another post. You might also see the
Cira Center again it's in the background and slightly to the right in the bottom photo.
The bottom picture was taken at the base of new, tall and really cool building which I'll show more of inside and out in the future.

It's a good thing you tell us to do that. LOL. I would have never remembered that. :) Wonderful photos
Yeah I remember the four eagles .....damn nice pics...
I like the fountain James ... and the square ... however, I bet that in winter this entire area becomes a windy canyon.
Great shots James. Hooray for watery and brotherly love, in PA. I love your photos!
Ebie's Watery Outdoors.
I like those big red letters in the first shot! They really stand out.
Nice phots of the water fountains in Philadelphia. The red LOVE leters really stand out.
Most excellent my friend! Maybe this weekend we will get back downtown?
Beautiful watery city views under amazingly blue skies ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Great fountains.
Sydney - City and Suburbs
Love the LOVE!
It sure takes me back to my high school days. The 70's were all about peace and love. I have a silver toned necklace with the same shape of this sculpture.
Great shots!
And, the fountain looks refreshing in among the glass and concrete.
what a lovely and a beautiful place..
Great images from Philadelphia!
LOVE superbe avec la fontaine derrière
What a vivid scene with LOVE and the water fountain...
I saw a picture of this on a blog not long ago--it must be quite the sight.
a watery LOVE...lovely concept.:P
I was just driving by this today : ) So pretty. My friend got her engagement pictures with the love sign. They turned out so delightfully!
Hope you are doing well!
Love the love. Great shot and I did recognize the eagles!
Sunny :)
Looks like Philadelphia is leaning toward "philos" in the 1st photo.
Marvellous photographs.
I remember the eagles, it was the rule of four post (or something like that). They stole that Love art piece in New York, don't they?
The last building is very interesting, awaiting more info and pictures!
Hello James, I know I have many questions haha! Just could not help noticing it. Have those pics been enhanced?
That LOVE art piece just shows up everywhere! Yet I've never seen a single one here. I like it with the fountain and surrounded by tall buildings of different architectural styles!
Beautiful photos/s. This "LOVE" was photographed by me too, in NYC, though I imagine this is the Brotherly Love version, in Philly.
Wonderful images from that great city!
Great - the 'Love' stands out so much it looks quite unreal :)
what a beautiful place, nice building..
Edith

Wow! These images are fabulous!!
My husband lived there as a child. He used to talk about it a lot. What great photo's you've taken for us! :)
I enlarged the first pic. but didn't see the eagles!
i was fascinated with a beautiful place and the big LOVE word. great fountains.
These are wonderful crisp colorful photos!
What spectacular photos. The clarity and color are amazing. I also love the fountain. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
If I remember correctly, this statue was placed there during our country's bicentennial and when it was removed the owner of one of Philly's sports teams bought it a few years later and returned it to this spot.
Haven't thought about it in years, thanks for sharing!
Very nice pics.

Val
