The Sun and the Moon (Weekend Reflections # 19)

I went in for a closer look at the interesting house that I posted yesterday. When I entered the alley I saw a shallow puddle of water and in the water I saw the subtle reflection of the moon and sun from the house. I rotated it for better viewing. You might have to stare at it a little but I think it's pretty neat the way they fit right into the little puddle. I'm glad that I noticed them.

ha ha...you had me studying the photo for a little bit there in search of the sun and moon. I am unprepared again. :( I will just link to a photo from earlier this week.

Very nice James. I really like the abstract quality of this one. And yes, I can see the sun and the moon reflections after studying the photo for a minute.

The echo of yesterday's photo.. It seems to be a modern art painting!A creative abstraction.

Hello James, how are you?

At first, I thought this photo was a trick :o). After a couple of seconds I did see the sun and the moon :o)

The puddle is drying up.

I did not understand what reflected me well,
when I looked first.

So. "Profound of universe" was reflected back there.

It may have changed more mysteriously than the real thing.

lovely reflection!

It would indeed be nice, if it would rain leafes and flowers - even if just for a moment.

Please have a wonderful start into the weekend.

You DO have a good eye! I had to concentrate for a minute, but think I do see it.
Have a great week-end.

Thanks for hosting this.

You was right, yesterday detail helps to catch a volatile and quite imaginative reflection.

Oh, funny. I didn't see them until you pointed them out. What did people think of you taking pics of a mud puddle? :-) I had the neighbors staring today, taking pics out in the snowy yard.

Sara Chapman said...

Yes, I did have to stare for a moment. Neat one! Good seeing.

Serendipity said...

Oh that's lovely! The colours are just right.

I'm glad you noticed them too ... very kewl shot! I would have added my link this morning, but I missed this post earlier since it didn't have the label 'Weekend Reflections' ... glad I found it this evening. I've been away from the computer all day and am pretty much exhausted so I guess I'll be visiting everyone tomorrow ;-)
Hugs and blessings,

James, I messed up on my title for my first Weekend Reflection. How can I correct it?

Dina said...

Ha, nice find. I rather prefer that sun and moon in this subdued version of them. :)

Martha said...

Very subtle and very cool. I need to get out and find some reflection shots. They just haven't presented themselves to me recently! I will be back to play along soon. This post has really taken off - kudos for the idea!

Christine said...

Ahhh! Now I see them. Very cool shot. I'm happy to have found your site and will be joining in Weekend Reflection.

Thank you for changing my first title. Would you mind making it Oakland Daily Photo? I'd do it myself but can't seem to figure out how. Thanks also for your encouraging comments. This is going to be fun.
