We can never see that covered bridge too many times. We have nothing like that here in Israel, so I enjoy seeing yours.

Today I continue your stained glass tradition of last week.

Be well, James. Shalom

I'm envious James. This is another fine shot of a marvelous subject. I'm envious because I don't know of any covered bridges in this part (or any part for that matter) of South Jersey.

I think one gorgeous bridge like this could offer so many photo opp possibilities...think of all the perspectives there! How fun that would be! It looks like it is actually accessible to explore with a camera! Love it in black and white and what crystal clear reflections you captured.

I hope your back gives you some relief VERY soon!

SquirrelQueen said...

Since I love covered bridges you can't show enough of their photos for me. This one is spectacular in monochrome. Hope your back problems clear up very soon.

Covered bridges are rare here so it's a pleasure to see yours. :)

Love that bridge with perfect reflection.

Your meme is something that make me pause to ponder by. Even photos have beautiful stories to tell without us even saying a thing.

A physical reflection may not be necessary or one that we can look down, up and scrutinize the surrounding of the subject shadowing in the space in between but by looking at the picture alone for what it tells makes us reflect upon life for what it's worth.

Get well soon. I had the same problem in the last three months or so. I feel better now in that department. The sign of times (of getting old). haha

This photo is stunning! I do hope you are feeling much better. I too suffer from back problems so I sympathize with you!

Love the sepia-like tones of the bridge. The reflections are just mirror effects.

I hope you get a good rest for your back pain. Feel better!

Hi James,
Here's hoping your back will quickly calm down and let you get back to your wanderings.

That covered bridge is a beauty, and like any work of art, it may be viewed again and again, in different light, weather, seasons, moods... just think of the series that Monet did of Rouen Cathedral, for example, or of something simple like haystacks... transforming them into timeless memories. So you are hereby granted permission to publish as many variations on the covered bridge theme as you deem worthy of our attention... and as you can see, there are quite a few of us who keep coming back for more, so you are clearly onto something...
:-)
Keep it up...

Hey James,

So sorry to hear about your back. Hope you get back to normal soon. Photography can put one in such awkward positions!

I never get tired of shooting the mountain out my window in different seasons and light, so I can understand your re-visiting your favorite subjects. I think it's the only way you can really learn about photography. There is always something new and wonderful to discover for the artist and the viewer.

And I for one love your covered bridge series, the changes in the light and surrounding landscape. So keep them coming!

James what a lovely bridge to have on your doorstep that you can photograph through all the seasons of the year. I'm new to this meme and looking forward to the challenge of finding reflections to photograph. My submission is on my Centre of Interest photoblog.

I hope your back improves soon - suffered from that myself in the past and know how debilitating it can be.

Good to be here :) Rosie
