Old Barns and Farms

These are two different farms around Newtown. You might remember Stone Meadows Farm from a black and white photo last week. The top one will be my photo for the Old Barns meme at Bluff Area Daily.
The one thing that my last several posts have in common is that all of the photos were taken with a point and shoot camera and if I didn't remember to put it in my pocket I would have missed them. :)

Awww the good old point and shoot. My favorite. I don't have so many things to have to remember. Wonderful photos my friend :) It looks more like it would be in Iowa or Nebraska and Pennsylvania. I have a totally different image of PA in my mind. But it's rapidly changing :)

The fam is the kind that works well, all is in order in and around it. The second picture shows a very attractive opened skyline, I like the warm soft light of winter.

The big blue sky dwarfs the farm...great compostiton in both photos.

Great images of crisp fall days. the cloud action is particularly striking on the first. Those clouds add so much movement to an otherwise still scene. I know what you mean about always having a camera on hand. I joke that mine is really an oversized necklace!

I didn't even see the barns or anything past that BLUE sky in either shot! WoW! I love love love pics w/ such a fantabulous blue sky backdrop!!!
I focused my concentration on the barns, I was able to see them, too! Very nice, very white... I'm so glad I started this meme so I can see the barns everyone posts each week! Thanks so much

White farms are rare here. This farm looks very well kept.

You have a very nice way of catching the charm of these old places.

Beautiful shots! Just goes to show, it's not always the camera...you've got the "eye".
We need a new P&S camera (well, hopefully I can get Tara's repaired since it's still under the plan from the Geek Squad!) These are great shots. It's great to have the "big" camera, but at times the P&S (or in my case my iPhone) is what is on hand! Stay warm!

Beautiful atmosphere James. The depth of these pictures I think come from the gorgeous cloud formations but whatever the reason you have definitely tapped into the third demension of my two demensional laptop screen! Wild.
