I took this a couple of weeks ago on the day my back really started giving me problems.
Check out the reflection of the silo in this field. I saw the water and hoped to capture a reflection of the barn but I just managed to get the silo.
Thanks for all of the nice comments and well wishes last week! I'm still not able to sit in a chair for very long so I regret that I won't be around to comment. I thought about leaving my comments off this week, but then I remembered that sometimes I need to help with Linky problems. Let me know if you have any Linky trouble. I'll check every so often. Hopefully, I'll be taking pictures and blogging soon. I'll still post Weekend Reflections every Friday in the meantime. Have a great weekend!

I like the rustic feel of this.
Sorry to hear that your back is still acting up :-(
Great shot in B&W! Happy weekend!
James, I do hope you will soon be sitting and standing tall as that silo.
I love the "old" feel to this one, like stepping back in time! The silo is great! I do hope your back is feeling better soon!! Have a good weekend, James!

I love the texture of this shot
perfect for the scene
feel better James
Hope your back clears up quickly! That's a small puddle to get a complete barn! Nice shot of the silo. Mr Link's a little slow but got the job done without a problem.
I've been thinking about you, James, and hope that you are improving. This is a great reflection with the silo featured... perfect in b/w!
Bises,

Excellent capture, James. Hope you are on the pain-free move soon!
Sorry to hear that your back is giving you so much pain. Hoping it gets better for you soon. Love the black and white image and the way the silo was reflected.
I think that's even better than the entire barn!
Hope your back gets better soon. Take care.

It's surprising how far a reflection can be from its source.
Bad backs are horrible and agitating and restless-making and painful and . . .
Wishes don't exactly help - but I wish you better, none the less.

It's really perfect James, a beautiful picture and fantastic reflection!

***please take care okay!
Wow, that's a perfect reflection of the silo, James!
I hope your back feels better soon.
Chiropractor time?
It's an image that suggests a rustic and cybernetic at the same time.
You are missed!Hope your back will soon be better...
Your picture has a very special mood,it could be sad but something in the light is saying that it's end of winter, and that spring hope is in the air..
Love your farms and reflections.
Oh James...sorry to hear your back is not treating you kindly. Sending healing thoughts straight at you. Hope by the end of the weekend you'll be feeling better.
Do so love how you've caught such a pretty silo in that puddle.
I love this reflection my friend. It is beautiful and the black and white adds so much. :) I'm back to blogging, hopefully LOL and wouldn't you know I made a mistake with the link above. The first one said it was too big so I did it over and now there are two. If you can will you please delete the second one. Mahalo my friend and have a great weekend :)
Very beautiful shot ! Is your back not better ?
That's a wonderful shot, James...I love the silo in the puddle!
Sorry to hear you're not well. Definitely don't worry about comments, but when you're better you might check out my last two posts which feature Monument Valley pics, if that side trip still fits in with your plans.
Take good care of yourself...:)

Poor you with this back making you suffer that much... I hope you will get better quickly ; being sick is really so annoying... But i can see that even if the back is bad, you can still take good picture, and that is really marvellous...
I wish you well...
Positive thoughts from France, my dear James...
beautiful reflection james:-)
James, I agree with Pat... go see a chiropractor! I found a superb one here in Bucharest and my back issues are almost fixed. Glad you captured this image of a reflection of the silo in a puddle amid winter bleakness... very cool.
Love this photo James! You know just when either b&w or color is appropriate! Great job...
Toute en finesse, ta photo, cette semaine. Bravo !
Super reflection, James! I hope your back gets better soon. :)
Toujours un régal de voir tes photos James!!!!
Wonderfulrange of tones in this monochrome! Fascinating reflection capturing just the background silo detail!
Get well James. This is an excellent B&W photo (even without the reflection). The silo reflected in the puddle is icing on the cake.
Nice shot, I'm glad all you got was the silo!
Sorry your back is still bothering you, get well soon!
I do like barns, and this is an excellant reflection.
Take care of that back.
B.
I like reflections in black and white.
Hope your back gets to feeling better!
Your picture has an old world charm. Hope you get well soon.
Sorry to hear about your back. I've been out for the count with bursitis in my hip and not getting out with the camera. So I haven't really been by for a bit. I think I am back in business. I hope you are soon as well.
Sorry you are having back problems. It's hell to get old but beats the alternative. I enjoy your photographs very much and hope you are bsck to full speed very soon.
Intriguing that it's only the silo that shows up in the reflection! Take care of your back:) Did you also check out losethebackpain.com? Wouldn't hurt to get extra knowledge -Take care!
I had back surgery over 25 years ago...back's never gotten better!!
Really nice picture! I hope you feel better soon!
I've just recovered from a similar problem, so I understand the pain.
Take care not to over-exert.

I sympathize James!

I like the atmospheric quality to the old barn and bare trees.
Sorry you're feeling badly - hope you're well again soon.
I hope you will have recovered soon. THank you for taking care of Weekend Reflections.
Love this photo...I had wondered if Bird in Hand was a real place but could never remember to google it.
Hope you get some relief for your back soon.
Your reflection shot is beautifully composed, an exquisite dance of light and dark. The water looks like liquid mercury!
I'm so very sorry to hear your back is still in pain. Living with physical pain is so difficult. I do hope you are on the mend this week.
«Louis» sincerely hopes your back lets up on you SOON!
Amo le foto in bianco e nero :)

silos are so cool. I grew up on a farm, and any silo photo is special to me. yours is a beautiful wonder. have a great weekend, and thanks for hosting.
I am so sorry that you are experiencing back problems. I know how that is, and wish you the very best. I enjoyed the silo photo, it brought back memories of my grandparents farm.
