Ah, Venice (Weekend Reflections # 152)

Venice, Italy (Campo San Barnaba)

The most amazing thing happened right after I took this shot. A man and a woman climbed out of a manhole soaking wet and they were chased away by a group of armed men wearing fez hats. I'm kidding. Actually I just described a movie scene that took place here in the 1980's. ( Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade)

 Have a great Weekend!

Incredible reflection.

Ah, you must have taken enough reflections photos in Venice to last you for years here, it must have been a gold mine for reflected light with all that horizontal water everywhere you look. Hope you didn't fall down any open manholes while distracted by reflections...

BTW, an other fabulous reflection, in a fabulous place..

Sorry James, je ne trouve plus vraiment de reflets à Versailles...

Spectacular! I didn't have to finish scrolling to know exactly where you took this shot, James. (I love that movie too, but you really have to suspend disbelief when watching that scene!)

It looks like a very calm, cool day, perfect for such a
reflection with a little watery rippling to remind one of the reality of the scene.

You are too funny Mr James. Bond? James Bond?
Fabulous photo-the gondolas themselves are fab, and then you go and get the building too! Well spotted and captured.

Wonderful reflection James. You had me going for a second there with your descriptive imagination!(Where would we be without a sense of humour?) Have a great weekend.

One can never tire of Venice. How many data chips can you use up shooting all the reflection choices? As many as it takes, right James?
