Inside of God's Kaleidoscope

I walked in a beautiful place today. I watched colorful leaves gently rain down and I saw reflections on a placid stream that amazed me. I really felt like I was in God's kaleidoscope, and I loved it.
If you look very closely at today's top picture and squint your eyes you might see a green bridge through the tree branches. That's the bridge that I was on and from where I took yesterday's pictures. Now if you go back to yesterday's pictures and look at the hill that is straight down the center of the river, you will see where I took today's pictures.
Sometimes when you look up something beautiful catches your eye before you see the sky.

A reminder that the next round of Weekend Reflections is scheduled to start at 11am EST Friday Oct 23rd and it runs through Sunday.

James these are beautiful. They remind me of my step-mother always saying she was from "God's Country", (central CA.). You could call this post "God's Country". I'm really drawn to the third one, with the red, gold and green leaves.

These are such beautiful trees and nature at its finest...I really am drawn to the shots straight up through the center of the trees...I like the light at the top. I do see the green bridge...really stunning posts, both of them!

Hi James... these are picture perfect... I do like the title of this post and fully understand your thinking here.
I took a few shots like this on Monday... but yours are far better, with more colour and much better light. Thanks also for pointing out the bridge and this hill...
Sorry you could not make out
The Green Man in my picture... he is there and if no one spots him I will of course point him out... I think its a case of once noticed he jumps right out at you.
Thank you for your visits and your time James... I do appreciate it.

I am saying this with reason, because I have just tried some of these shots but badly missed them. Any secret about shooting leaves?

Oh, the beauty and splendor of Autumn, a wonderland! I could picture myself throwing and playing those red golden leaves that fell on the ground.
I could see the bridge and must be quite a stroll enjoying the site!

Marvelous indeed and I wish I have a magic wand and turn the remains of our brush fires to this scenery!
