En attente d'un retour à la vie normale ?(Weekend Street/Reflections # 9)

Paris, France

In February of 2020 this woman was waiting for a bus, but I imagine she's now waiting for a return of normal life.

Compared to a lot of places, life in my city has remained fairly normal. No lockdowns have been enforced, people enjoy the beach and go to restaurants. Masks are optional outside but most business require them to be worn inside. Thankfully, we haven't had a major Covid problem here. Less than 5% of the population have been infected, and for those infected, the survival rate is nearly 100%.

Hopefully everyone will enjoy freedom again soon.

Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.

Please no posed pictures, portraits, animals etc. unless of course there is a reflection.

"Street photography, a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge."

Un Rêve Lucide (Weekend Reflections # 552)

Paris, France

When I saw this reflection I had the same feeling as I do when I suddenly realize that I'm dreaming. It's usually triggered by something familiar but not quite right. The feeling is usually disconcerting and sometimes startles me awake, other times I adapt and go with it. During the past few months I've had similar feelings about this strange new world we've been thrust into. However, I'm pretty sure I'm awake.

Have a great weekend!
