Resting Reflection (Weekend Reflections # 108)

Newport Beach, California (Balboa Island)

The guy in the reflection said "I can move if you want me to" and I said please don't because that would ruin the picture.  I bet he was a little confused and I don't blame him. :)

If needed, please click the link near the top right corner for Weekend Reflections instructions. Now, lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!

Hi James,
I haven't been here in awhile so it's nice to be back!
I guess you might say the fellow in your shot has his head in the clouds. :)
A wonderful capture!

Very nice! The guy was the unwitting star of the show.

Beautiful shot.

Seeing the angle from which you must have taken this picture, I guess the guy was really wondering what you were doing!! :o)
But the result was worth of all that confusion! Have a nice week-end, dear James!

Great angle! Love the colors on this photograph, kind of a gloomy but cloudy!

Yep, we crazy bloggers can be quite confusing.

Yours is a very clear reflection.

I like that you can see more of the person in the reflection than the rest of the shot. Really neat framing.

Delicious reflection in the pond, a beautiful image, like a poem.

That I call a great shot. :) And really mean it. :) Love the image in the puddle.

Oh well, I guess he didn't know how great reflections can be!

Good one! Guess he didn't notice his own reflection.

Your are right. Without the person in the reflection the photo would be pretty simple.

I love the caption on this one James - Resting Reflection - very apt!

Great puddle shot James. How cool that he was kind enough to ask, yet clueless enough to know that it was all about him. I like those snappy sneakers too!

Outstanding composition, James. I like the lilt of the figure in the back as much as I like the legs in the middle ground.

That is a really superb capture, James!

Could almost imagine that was Forrest Gump sitting there, a little confused... and I guess the woman in shorts or a short skirt (?) in the background was just an accident, right ?

Have a great weekend James...

I enjoy your work so much. This one made me smile. It's all about the angle, isn't it? Nice work! And the woman's legs add a special touch.
