Along the Arno River (Weekend Reflections # 117)

Florence, Italy (taken from Ponte Santa Trinita )

We had a wonderful trip! I've wanted to go to Italy for along time and I wasn't disappointed! The only problem is now that I've tasted real Italian food it's going to be hard to enjoy what passes for Italian food around here. ;)   I took lots of reflection pictures so I hope you like them.

If needed, please click the link near the top right corner for Weekend Reflections instructions. Now, lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!

A beautiful reflection in one of my favorite towns. Being a foodie, one of the top pleasures of travel for me is tasting authentic cuisines from around the world. It's a wonder I don't weigh 300 pounds!

Oh James....love this long line reflection with great geometric shapes and bright colors. I'm sorry, but I DON'T feel badly for you having to readjust to sub-par Italian food. Oh puh-leeez.
Glad that Italy was fab. I'm immensely jealous. Happy weekend.

Oh that's wonderful!

James; really beautiful river reflection there !!! The water seems perfectly still...

But weren't you just a little tempted to toss a big rock in the water to swirl the reflection up just a little ? Great restraint on your part. Can't wait to see more.

What a wonderful location for a photographer who enjoys good food to visit ! ...mmm, I can only imagine how wonderful it was. I noticed how the colors of the buildings are so much more intense in the reflection - very nice.

P.S. It seems that this "funny business" has been going on, if not is..., for years and at one point they stopped allowing palm trees in Phoenix because of the increase of the scorpions population.
