In My Own Little Reflection World (Weekend Reflections # 173)

Costa Mesa, California (South Coast Plaza)

I saw this strange partially reflective orb in a shop at South Coast Plaza last year. I liked the warped reflection so I snapped a shot through the window. In case you were wondering I was wearing a red California Angels baseball cap. :-)

Have a great weekend!

Please only link posts that have a photo or photos that contain a visual reflection.  Reflections can be on water,glass,metal or anything else as long as we can see the reflection.If needed, click the link near the top right corner for instructions. Now, lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!

Great shot! Really like how it captures the mall...and that you're the only one in the shot. {should be a red sox cap, though ;-)}

Well hello, James! (I think the red cap lends a lot to an already very cool shot, btw.)

Love the sparkles in this reflection! And the lens always looks bigger reflected in a sphere.

That is such a cool orb ! I like it's design, half reflection, half black : it is so modern. It catch so well the universe all aroud it... It looks a bit like a gazing ball.

You have a nice cap on, James !

So we all wave at the ball and say 'Hi, James!'.

On a failli te voir, mais ton appareil photo te cache bien!
j'aime beaucoup les réflexions dans les sphères, la rondeur est toujours sympathique.

I should definitively start to understand more about baseball now that I have more time... but I must admit the length of the game gets in the way...

Oh, yes, James, I'd recognize the Angels cap anywhere, reflected or head on.

A great snap, James. It looks like there are bubbles jumping from one orb to another! (Hope your team is on a winning streak!)

Really cool shot. The reflection is wonderful however it is the overall composition that grabs my attention. It is almost as if the orb is just hovering. Great job.
