Got a Light? (Weekend Reflections # 248)

Newtown, Pennsylvania

I took this picture because I liked the rays of light that were coming from the lamp. It wasn't until after I took the shot that I realized that the lamp and the rays of light were reflections. The actual lamp was above my head. Then I noticed that the lamp was reflected twice in this picture which made me twice as happy. :-)

Have a great weekend!

Indeed, the rays are great, but the whole scene appears to be a reflection!

Just reminds me of how difficult it has been as of late to find replacement light bulbs here in the States because of recent changes in standards.

amazing, James! I like the design of the bulb's covering and the poster too.
The rays are like the ones that we expect to see in religious art about Jesus and the saints.

Great reflections of these lights! I could have taken so many of these kinds of reflections, if I was not Ms. Forgetful:) Happy weekend!

Hi James, my first time here. I like your photo... it's always a surprise what reflections can do.
Cheers now :D)

If you hadn't mentioned it, I would never guess the lamp was reflected twice! ;-)

sorry about lack of thumbnail photo in my linkup James. My computer wilted at that critical moment, tried to re-do but linky said 'no, already there'.
No worries though, will do better next time. Cheers ;D)

A nice double reflection photo, hadn't noticed the effect at first sight. Have a nice weekend.

I like how it looks like she is lighting her cigarette from the light, very clever!

Awesome shot James!

I also like the way the lady's cigarette tip looks like it's touching the light bulb. She's also getting a "light" from the light!
Very creative. :)
