Golden Wien (Weekend Reflections # 346)

Vienna, Austria                                                      Franziskanerplatz

I was walking around Vienna one snowy evening when I happened to notice this reflection on a gold nameplate. You only see a little part of the engraved  calligraphy at the bottom of the picture.
The gold plate says "Michael Wolfgang Fischer Juwelen".  I think Juwelen is German for jewelry or jeweler. Who needs jewelry when you can have reflections, right?
 No, I'm not going to ask my wife that question. ;-)

Have a great weekend!

Please remember to link your specific Weekend Reflections post !

Love that you saved part of the caligraphy and the way the lights flare a bit! So fun to see so many parts of the world thanks to your link up! Happy Weekend!

Love the golden tone in your night shot reflection. I agree with the others about the addition of calligraphy.

I also agree about the calligraphy—and (as much as I love reflections) what I assume your wife's answer would be! :~}

Vienna, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Thanks for the reminder of great memories. Yes, me thinks any woman would choose for jewelry! Thanks for hosting, James!

Love the way you share reflections from round the world. Sorry I haven't linked your site to my reflection this week. I am travelling at the moment and using a tablet! Didn't even manage to post the correct thumbnail.

I like the way the statue almost appears to be floating.

Juwelen is the same word in Dutch and German language and it means indeed jewelry. Great reflection.

Great reflection James.

Amazingly clear and encompassing reflection for a gold plate. Unique and awesome ... and you are wise in not asking your wife for her preference :)

I wouldn't mention it either! You are the master in finding reflections. And thanks for continuing this fun and intriguing meme.

James, I wish I could move that those Cuban dancers also. I'm luck to be able to get out of my chair. Ah, youth. Where did it go?
