Hôtel de Ville, Lyon (Weekend Reflections # 399)

Lyon, France

This is Lyon's city hall building reflected in a shop window in Place des Terreaux. The shop was closed as you might have guessed because of the gate pulled down behind the glass. Lyon is a fun and beautiful city. I'd love to go back someday.

Happy Reflecting!

Please remember to link your specific Weekend Reflections post !

This looks almost like a mosaic. The effect of shade on the right portion of the window nearly obliterates the grating and emphasizes the structure . The other geometric shapes are nicely balanced.

It does look a bit like a mosaic. Nicely done, James! Sounds like Lyon is worth a visit.

Ah, a magnificent building! In terms of reflections you are way ahead of me, James in drawing conclusions, like the why the fence is there, lol! Thanks for hosting:)
