Dallas Reflection (Weekend Reflections # 411)

Dallas, Texas

This is an old photo from when I lived in Dallas.  The bird on the left was enjoying the cool water while standing on a tree branch reflection.  :-)

My old back is starting to feel better, and it's not very hot so I need to get out and find some new reflections.

Thanks for all of your kind comments last week.

Happy Reflecting!

I like the subdued symmetry of the composition. Hope your back continues to get better-- keep up the stretching exercises. Made it to Amarillo today with a stop at Love Field to change planes-- my back was stiff but no more severe pain and I got the camera gear up into the overhead bins with no problem! I do not recognize the reflecting pool. We lived in Dallas for 23 years but left when I retired in 1993, so things have changed a lot since then! In those days I traveled a lot and at Love Field met people I knew almost every time I flew. Today it looked so foreign to me, big and busy.

I'm glad your back is getting better... Your reflection is pleasing... I love the richness of the color in the reflection and the sharpness of the image... and the birds sure add to the overall effect of the picture.
