I like this photo but I think it would have been better if there was a person looking at the camera from one of the windows. Come to think of it they would be looking at my back since the building is a reflection. The gold ring in this picture is a big antique flood light perhaps from a lighthouse or old ship. It is inside of the antique store so it's not a reflection.

Maybe you could be counted as a Lord of Ring? :-)
PS "My" duck was probably standing on submerged ice. There is no sand - just ice and water.
Wow, that is quite an interesting reflection...lots of detail to look at. Great shot!
Sunny :)
Its a very interesting shot!
Dear Lord of the Ring, Ü
I prefer your picture that way, without anyone. A face would attract the eyes; Here ,there are only graphic and geometric lines and circles, the look is lost in the picture, rebounding on the frame, and therefore jumps into dream and imagination..
Greetings from the Shire!
Sorry, from the shore Ü
Frontwards, backwards or upside down.. this is a marvelous reflection shot, James. Bravo, you never disappoint!
Thank you for hosting Weekend Reflections, its a fun meme.
I just keep looking at this and finding new things, it's really cool!
James, really a wonderful reflection. Plenty of interesting things going on and nothing happening at all.
Very cool James!
I like Rune's comment. :)
Wow this is a busy reflection shot. I really like it. Very appropriate since the Olympics are on if you ask me. Well done :)
Hello James. Sure it is.
Awesome one!
Beautiful reflection of the hole building. Nice cityscape in the mirror.
Have a nice weekend James!.
Deffo if it was in the circle.
Great shot.
That is a wonderful reflection picture. Great shot
I like the idea, one could see many things here, or not, which is the purpose of an surrealistic work. My preference is for the pattern of square windows behind the vanishing ring...
Interesting and great!
I think if there would have been a person looking out of one of the windows it would have given it a haunting look. Nice photo!
Having read about the Chinese New Year last week I discovered that the circle expresses the shape of Heaven...
Perfect match.
So much to contemplate here! I love the circle sneaking in there. What a great find, James!
You had fun getting this shot, eh? :)
Hello monsieur Dali! ;-)
Fascinating reflection! Love the detail and how the whole reflection seems to be captured in a gentle wave motion!
This looks like an old police files image from the '20s James. Very good effects.
Am I the only one wondering what that circle is? Am I the only one who doesn't get it? It looks like the frame of a mirror — or a monocle! Argh. I hate mysteries (until I get to the ending). ;)
Looks like this building and the one it's reflecting have very pretty details.
I hope you have a great weekend, James!
James, it is a wonderful shot, lots going on there!
It is a very fascinating reflection.
I seem to be breathed in in this reflection.
Clever!
great! happy weekend!
Agree, that Dali couldn't have made it better.
As it is already close to twenty past four in the morning over here, I'd like to return tomorrow with a reflection as well. Please have a wonderful start into the weekend.
p.s.: guess if my credit card would allow, I would have bought it.
Amazing, complex reflection shot James. I do see a person in one of the windows - is that you? To answer your question, I have no idea what the bird was. I know it was a hawk, but I think it's too big for a red tail? I was just happy to catch him! Kathy
Wow this shot looks like the cover of a mystery book or a movie poster.... I agree tho the face peeking out of the window would have been awesome!
I love this beautiful design you have created in this reflection.
Thanks for hosting this meme James.
: )
Quite a lot of detail in your reflection!
I love your reflective shots, James! You rock 'em!
This is what makes reflection pictures so interesting.
Wow, that's wild!
Wow- there's so much to take in! Nice shot!
Fascinating shot! Thanks for hosting this nifty weekly event and for sharing your process. I learn so much from everyone each week.
Hugs and blessings,
James, real interesting reflections for this week! My post is up! Pretty red Cadillac... :)
«Louis» hasn't joined the Weekend Reflections meme, but he really enjoys visiting those who do participate. Fine image, James!
That is an amazing photo. Just brilliant. There is someone's reflection - second window from the right.
Cheers.
Melbourne Daily Photo
very cool shot! I can gaze at it for quite a while trying to figure it out!!
The gold ring made me think of the Olympics! Lovely shot. I would love to know where the ring did come from.
Hope I'm not too late! It's still the weekend, right?
Shadow Dancing
Very ghostly and atmospheric.

Dear James, sorry for the multiple links. You can delete number 97 (It has the wrong URL).
Also, fantastic shot. Totally love it.
Hi, this is my first time joining in on Weekend Reflections. I love seeing all the reflection photos, including your amazingly artistic one :)
«Louis», back for a second look - this does have a bit of a Salvador Dali feel to it!
;-)
This is just too cool. It is like a spotlight overwhelmed. I love the emotion of this pic -- it is as if you caught a scene from the past.

Oh, I like this photo too. Really captures the quality of the historical, served us well for many years, sturdy row home, unlike it's gentrified counterpart, the townhouse. Has such a dreamy liquid quality and I particularly like the scrollwork on the cast iron vertical element in the foreground. Well done.
A fine reflection image, James and yes, with a surrealistic quality.
I love this reflection but I'm having Twilight Zone flashbacks!
Great catch and a great photo.
Great reflection! Apologies for such a late comment - I've had a really rough week.
