I love this. It tells such a story, and the story is probably different to each one of us based on our life experience. Such a dapper man. Really great, evocative shot James. Kathy
Neat shot James. It's all about the human condition. Ever see the Family of Man book? Great collection of photographs that explore the human condition.

Wow. This is packed with emotion!
The black and white really adds to the darkness of the emotion...
Oozes boredom.
SUPERBE, on dirait cette photo sorti d'un vieux film muet, j'adore
UNIQUE shot from a hard time :-)
He is looking sooo sad ....
it's a perfect post card, very artistic!
I must say James, you did a great job with photography!
Wonderful post!

Brother, can ye spare a dime? Probably not the case but the style of clothes, the body language...your wonderful photography...very evocative, James.
Outstanding. One of your best!
Ooooh, I like that!

One can almost wonder if you went back to the Great Depression to catch this... or with 10% unemployment, are we in another great depression?
Looks strangely like what was, is again.
Very cool. It really is a manikin, right? Very clever on store owner's part as well as yours.
Sad, but beautyful picture!
the way the man is dressed, a little out of time, makes the scene looks like a 50 or 60ies one..
He has so cool and clean clothes, which is a nice contrast to the surroundings. He must be a jazz man.
This is a beautiful picture James and says so much about what is happening to many people in these difficult economic times.
He looks deep in thought to me about why the store is closed :) Well done
1929 or 2009?
Remarkable shot.
He does a proper appearance.
A difference with the expression stirs my imagination.
It is a very wonderful work.
Another great B&W shot....captivating...
A great shot for black and white. He's all dressed up with no place to go.
Sunny :)
It really could have been taken in the 30s.
James, stop on over to Katney's Kaboodle where there is a surprise for you.
It looks like a old photo.. I like it!
I also want to follow you further:)
Very intriguing!
This photo looks like it was taken in the 40's. Its fantastic, James.
Oh what a wonderful photo - there is just something about black and white. Great !!!
Another wonderful shot from you. Very emotional.
