Last week was the Sun and Moon so this week I'll take you to the stars.
This photo is hard to explain, but I'll try. This is the rectangular center section of a restaurant in Munich. The glass is see through but very reflective and you are seeing the tiny lights (plus their reflections) that are hanging above the open air shopping mall below the restaurant. The bigger lights are the restaurant's lights and their reflections. To the left is a food counter and some tables, the tables and lights surround this glass center section. look down and you'll see the shopping mall, straight ahead is another building. The sky could be seen above but only as a reflection in this picture.

How clever! The tiny specks look like the galaxy or the Milky Way! Bravo!
Your picture makes me think about the ceiling of the dining hall in the school-castel , in the Harry Potter's movies!!Same magyc, same beauty!! Great !!
I was thinking the tiny specks looked liked a galaxy too. Whoever designed this really knew how to work with glass and artistic reflections! And, then you came along and caught the perfect image with your lens! I say "Bravo" too!

a mesmerizing view, to be sure!
This is so cool!
Even without the explanation, it would have been very pretty, but it's even more awesome with it.
Have a wonderful weekend, James!
Yours is a much more beautiful representation of a photo I attempted this a.m. through my windshield (dirty...) while trying to shoot a traffic jam in front of me. Mine didn't turn out so well...instead of the traffic jam I got my dirty streaks.
Happy Birthday...!
That is an amazing collection of reflections!
Fabulous reflections!
Definitely needed the explanation! Great reflection. :)
This is one of the most fascinating reflection images ever! The colored lights are mesmerizing and I like the sky colors too.
the reflections are very tricky, creates many lights, so enjoyable to look at
I seem to be breathed in to a light shower such as the illusion.
It DOES look like outerspace. I love it!
Happy week-end James.

James, that's spectacular. I like the complexity, and the patterns.
Congratulations on the new lens. I look forward to seeing your work.
The 50mm lenses are so much fun.
Your reflection shots always give me pause......sometimes I REALLY have to look at them to SEE them! Those tiny lights look like raindrops on the window. Cool shot!

It feels like I'm standing in a rain of light!
I think this is the best picture you've posted since I started following.
Looks like rain drops to me. I hope the beautfiul place makes the food taste beautiful too.
Happy Birthday James! Mine is Sunday.
Don't you love being an Aquarian?
Your photo is really really beautiful.
& the post before it,... wow! that guy (I'm assuming it was a guy) is a real dare devil eh?
I'll always wonder if he made it back too. Seems impossible, yet there are some people that are able to do these things so easily. It must be a gift of sorts.
Excellent capture .... really lovely reflection image - another good one to inspire the mind and the eyes to see things other than the obvious!!
Thanks so much

This image is mind-altering, James. I love its complexity. How difficult was it to avoid having your own reflection in the photograph?
Is this a galaxy far far away? a Meteor shower? or even diamonds in the sky? Great reflection photo.
