It's great to be back! With the exception of this photo and some for Weekend Reflections I'll be be posting the pictures that I took in Europe on my other blog Something Sighted. I've already posted a few and I'll be posting them for a long time to come. This picture is another version of my other blog's new header photo. I hope you all enjoyed Weekend Reflections while I was away. I'm looking forward to the fun this weekend!
The boy in this picture just stood there in awe of the Eiffel Tower for quite a while.
Can't wait to see more!
Always a lovely sight.
Beautiful shot!! What were your impressions of Paris? Did you visit the sidewalk cafes? I just wonder if you had the same experiences my sister did when she went.
this is beautiful!! I would be in awe also.
Welcome home! I'm jealous, looks like a great trip! Beautiful image.
Welcome back! Looking forward to checking out more of your trip photos!
This one is gorgeous. My daughters are visiting Paris in June. And W.P. and I are making plans for Amsterdam and Copenhagen, with maybe a short stop in London and Salisbury, where we have friends. So, so exciting. That'll get me through the winter.
Glad you had a safe and happy trip, nice to see you had some sunshine! The only way I've seen the Eiffel tower in my visits is with gray skies and drizzle. It does look a lot more impressive with a blue sky as a backdrop!
Nice to have you back.
I am in awe as well, and equally so with the sky! What a gorgeous view.
Nice angle on the Eiffel Tower James, and it looks like the boy on the horse was there for a little while also...
I love this area, when I was living in Paris as a student I lived just a short walk from here...
cela me rapelle quelque chose ;) superbe photo, une vraie carte postale
We're glad that you had a beautiful sunny day in Paris, at this time of the year chances are of a lot of rain!
God bless you!

J'ai d'abord cru que tu habitais face à la Tour Eiffel !!! Ah Paris ! Bon retour chez toi. Il n'y a plus qu'à trier les photos et les souvenirs ...
At least you had a wonderful weather!Did you meet some demonstrations, or were you there after the battle?..:)
I'm going to visit Owen's blog, it sounds so interesting!
Welcome home from what is one of the most interesting cities of the world! And I can see you have spent the time well :-)
Oh! I love Paris :)
I can´t wait to see the reflections from Paris in your blog :)
Best regards from Argentina
Welcome back James, I hope you had a grand time!
Great pic! That's a different view of the tower from I've seen before.
magnifique,quelles couleurs ;O)
love the shot from such an unusual point of view. Your pictures have been fantastic.
YESSSSS ! Our "Grand Timonier" is back ! It is so nice have at last some news from you... And some lovely pictures too... Nice shot on this one : you had such a beautiful blue in the sky to take your shot...
Nice parisian vue for your come back
Beautiful - I'm looking forward to seeing more of your photos!
It looks spectacular against that gorgeous sky. Welcome back James!
This is a gorgeous photo James, with the Tour Eiffel touching those beautiful clouds.
Nice to have you back.
Brings back a lot of good memories of our trip to Paris long long ago. Welcome back, James!
Never seen the Eiffel tower with a sky like this! Did you do the climb?
I should have, because instead, I was harassed by gypsies, who even demanded I share my cookies with them!
i don't think i've seen La tour from this angle before, it's indeed such a wonderful sight and the sky couldn't be better. ^0^
Wonderfl shot of Paris!
Not much not to like about this shot of the iconic Eiffel, James. Welcome back! I'll be following your photos of Paris... even if I can't comment every day... the work plate is still too full.
Magnifique! Nice to see that the weather cooperated. Looks like we had similar skies (http://mostlylacounty.blogspot.com/2010/11/london-bridges-on-sunday-sunday-bridges.html) with cool but sunny weather.
The sky is so bright and clear; what a perfect setting for such a beautiful monument of sorts. Great photo!
SO beautiful! Keep 'em coming, James!
