I took this shot last month. I like the way the lights on the bridge work with their reflections to make what looks to me like a mask.
This will be my entry for the Sunday Bridges meme too.

James, this bridge reflection is spectacular. Good work.
Mesmerizing! It does look like a mask or eyes with lots of eye lashes!
Enjoy your weekend!

WOW! Amazing magic night.
Your shot is amazing ! It feels like you did get the picture of some gigantic mask : those lights under the bridge and their reflection look like eyes...
Lovely ! and so poetical...
First of all, for some reason, Linky put me in three times and I didn't mean that to happen??????? So please feel free to remove the last two!!!
And what a fantastic night reflection! Absolutely breathtaking!! Have a great weekend!!

what an incredible shot. i love the starburst effects on the lights too. hope all is well.
Oooh, yes. Very theatrical, indeed.
I have the same feeling than you: Carnival is beginning tonight here, and I was thinking of a mask!
(BTW: those kinds of masks are called in french "loup" , like "wolf").
Really nice James! No matter how I try to look at it differently, I still see a mask!
Alors là, c'est digne d'un maître ! Bravo ... tu deviens expert en "nocturnes" !
It does look like a mask but a mask of diamonds! This is such a beautiful bridge and what an incredible capture! It's a keeper, James!

James, you took the words out of my mouth, IT IS a mask! Fantastic!
Brilliant picture, looks indeed a mask, big eyes are watching you! :)
The arches in this bridge are so romantic and I've counted about 11 lights in detail, and lots of other little lights, it's beautiful!

Amazing mask effect! Incredible how it looks so much like the slanted eyes of a Venetian mask! Wonderful photo!
Yes, two giant eyes looking at us!

A second look beyond the eyes - the lights in the background are very pretty too!
Very cool shot!!!!! Mickie
Outstanding. Mask was my first thought.
The city with two large eyes. A beautiful view with wonderful reflections of light at night.

Yes, they do look like two decorated eye holes of a mask.

Quick, call Christopher Nolan. If ever there was a perfect opening scene of Gotham for a Batman movie, this is it! Your work is so cinematic! I am always lead to attach a story to your images.
The reflections here in the darkness of the water (that famous Philadelphia river, I wonder) are so special - as usual a great composition!
What a neat image, James!
Let's link it to Sunday Bridges, too!
That's a beauty, James! Well observed and superbly captured.
Ha! so good! made me think of Batman's mask as soon as I saw it.
The eyes have it! Wonderful, wonderful capture. You are so talented!
It' odd that, even if we see a bridge with lights reflected in the water ever day, it never fails to enchant.

Hmm... the Schuykill ? Near 30th st ? Gorgeous dark water and still a little glow in the sky. Just right...
Seriously stunning photo!
