Spare Reflections (Weekend Reflections # 80)

Ivyland, PA (Tanner Brothers Dairy Farm) It's a reflection in a spare tire cover on the back of a car. The reflection is warped but there's a dairy farm with two silos, a wooden fence, cars, the sun in a blue sky, power lines, and me and my shadow. Speaking of me, my back is finally getting better! I'm still not able to sit or stand in one place very long but I am able to walk with much less pain and my pain is less overall. :) Happy Days are almost here again! I hope all is well with all of you. I'll stop by and say hello as much as I can. Have a great weekend! If needed, please click the link in the top right corner for Weekend Reflections instructions. Now, lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!

A wonderfully enlivening photo. I enjoy the colours and the shapes and the glimpses of things (and you!) 'beyond'. One of my favourites.

P.S. The first thing I looked for when I arrived on this post was to see how your back is - then I forgot to mention it here - so pleased it is easing up. Hope it is completely better soon.

Firstly...I am glad you are feeling much better. It's not fun, I am sure! Secondly...this is such a great reflection...so much detail and so beautifully composed! I like how the tire cover fills the screen...a super duper photo, James!

I love this! It's almost as if both car and truck will collide. Great stuff.

Artistic, distorted reflection! It transforms reality into a dreamscape! Great photo!

Neat shot James. I like the warped "colored pencil" character of the back of the cover. A modern continental kit. When I was a kid building model cars, they were always lowered in the rear and had the continental kit installed. I like 'em.

A rear-view looking forward in time.

Please have a good start into the weekend.

Great news about your back! Your reflection looks like a little universe unto itself with the steely sky arching above the landscape, the star reflection a little sun. Have a wonderful week!

Nifty chrome-y reflection. Glad to hear you're recuperating. It's a drag when our bodies don't cooperate with our will.

Hey James, Glad to hear the back is on the mend... can't keep a good man down !

Only you could make a spare tire holder on a 4x4 look this good I think. Looking forward to seeing the results of you getting back out and around soon.
