The Sun and the Moon 2 (Weekend Reflections # 101)

Balboa Island, California

This is another version of a reflection that I posted for Weekend Reflections # 19.  It's an interesting and colorful house on Balboa Island. Last time the reflection was in a water puddle in the alley and kind of dull, but this time it's on a garage door window of another house and much brighter.

I thought is was pretty cool that we had exactly 100 links last week. :)

If needed, please click the link near the top right corner for Weekend Reflections instructions. Now, lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!

Brilliant color and a great capture rolled into one.

Bet you are glad you are not out on the East Coast right now! I am glad you aren't there too. Unfortunately my folks are, but I think they aren't in for the brundt of it.

Have a great weekend.

Colorful is the exact description : I love the blue of its walls... And good idea to link it to a previous contest... This house is really a good inspiration for very unique pictures...

I wonder whether the people in this house with the terracotta moon and sun have as much character as their house. Their house sure outshines their neighbor, just judging from this gray garage door. Cool contrast.

PS... you mean you didn't just close Linky after the 100th link? ... Kidding, James. ;-) Yes, also cool.

I missed last week...I would have messed up the "100 thing". I went back and looked at last week's image-that ferris wheel is fantastic.
I also like your image this week...the blue is so vibrant and how cool to have the opposite of sun and moon in one shot.
Happy weeekend James!

I think to a song from Charles Trenet …

I love that sun and moon! So bright and cheerful. I'm #80 and glad to know I'm not the last one to link! (I'm having problems adjusting to being in the Pacific Northwest as related to blogtime...when we were in Florida, I could post later and still be one of the first linkees!

Thanks as always!!!

Oh, I like your terra cotta sun and moon. Such fun pieces to have in a garden or hang on a wall. You moved at just the right time. Have a quiet and peaceful Sunday of the West Coast. Mickie :)
