Florence, Italy
Thankfully I have lots of photos in my archives because I haven't taken any pictures this month/year.
I really need to get out there.
I hope you all had a great week, but if not, hopefully the weekend will make up for it. :)
If needed, please click the link near the top right corner for Weekend Reflections instructions. Now, lets have some fun with Weekend Reflections!

Florence is so beautiful. I could fill up a blog just with photos from Florence. Love your reflection today.
That's a fabulous shot!
Oh that boat looks tiny, caught between 'two worlds' !
That's what archives are for -- great photos like this one.
Ah, l'Arno.. "Chambre avec vue", de E.M. Forster! que de beaux souvenirs, aussi bien litteraires que rééls!Un rêve!
Your reflections shots are always an inspiration James!
Have a good weekend too! :)
I like what dawn treader said, it is what I was thinking too!
I know what you mean, I've been caught up in other life things and new photos aren't coming as quickly as they should! Your archives are lovely.
tres jolie reflexion,on dirait une peinture !
tres bon w end a tous ;o)
Wonderful, James! I recognized Florence the second the page downloaded.
Wonderful color, I love those beautiful reflections.
This is a great view of Venice! Sure makes me want to visit!
that's a gorgeous shot, james!
Love the saturated but real colors James. BTW, Mr. Linky is being stinky today.
Lovely! Great reflections James.

Super reflection James - looks wonderful.
Clearly you still have some great reflections from your trip! And also clearly the US flood plain rules do not apply to the Arno.
a lovely scene. the reflections are fantastic.
absolutely beautiful
I especially like the reflections of the 2 people, sweet
I'm in the same boat (so to speak). But you can show me Florence any time!
great shot! :)
Yes indeed you better get out there! I'm counting on your awesome eye....where this week's image provides a perfect example of what I'm saying. The kayakers provide a wonderful scale to show off the buildings. Well spotted and captured.
A striking detailed reflection! Love how the reality is half the image and the reflection is the other! Very dramatic!
A marvellous reflection James. Very busy and interesting. Thanks for sharing your photographic images and for hosting this site - in my book, it matters not whether the pix are current or historic; the merit is still there! Happy weekend.
What a great photo of this beautiful part of the world. Lovely reflections.
Thanks for hosting!
I love Florence! And what a great capture for the day, James! You always do have the best! Thanks as always for hosting the fun! Have a beautiful weekend!

I love this photo, James!
Wonderful reflections. James, you realy are a reflection master.
What I like is that the reflections have a different color than the real buildings! Hope you're doing well, James?
Beautiful reflection! I would love to visit Florence.
that rowing boat looks so small on that river. Almsot lost in the reflections.
Beautiful ! reflection through a painter's eye ! The colours of the buildings are delicious !
Loved the photo! I wanted to participate in the weekend reflections, but I have a self-imposed 1 blog a day rule, and I already participate in Friday's Fences...seems there are too many things to link to, and participate in. I could spend all my time just blogging! Anyway, I enjoy the photos. Happy weekend!
such an awesome photo...wOw, I love it!
Thanks for continuing to host fun stuff.
James that is awesome...
I know this town very well because I live in Italy. Your shot is very well done. Thanks for sharing with us . Wish you a nice week-end. Ciao from Italy

I'm hoping to visit Florence some day. In the mean time I can enjoy your lovely photos! I love those colors, so Italian!
It's been a while since I played, but I found a good one this week. I'm doing project 366, so I've taken a lot of photos lately! Hope you're well?
this is a lovely tranquil shot - quite beautiful....
Very beautiful picture(s). That is the reason why I like ancient architecture much better than modern architecture...
Tha's a really nice photo-glad you pulled it up from the past. Have a great weekend. Mickie ;)
Wow! So beautiful!
Thanks for sharing, James.

love that view and the reflection of it!
I might just imagine myself (and camera), in this setting; how totally picturesque
How small one must feel sitting in that tiny boat! Beautiful photo!
Oh Wow, how awesome! My brother and his wife just got back from Italy and they raved about it. Hopefully, I can get there one day. Your pictures are the clincher and I've been totally knocked out by each and every image you post from your trip...
Beautiful reflection. Have a nice week. Greetings.
