Taking Time to Dream (Weekend Reflections # 210)

Vienna, Austria

This man seemed to be dreaming of different times and far away places.
The man on the bench and the paintings next to him were reflected on a room divider made of polished stone in The Kunsthistorisches Museum. I left the wood moulding and a slice of an actual(not reflected) painting on the right side to give a little perspective.

I wont be around very much for the next three or four weeks but Weekend Reflections will still be here, so please continue to enjoy it. :-)

This is the place to see and share reflections click the rules tab above for more information.
A Reflection =  An image given back by a reflecting surface.

I love this picture, dear James... The guy surrounded with paintings that looks toward the ceiling is so significant... (I guesse there must be a painting on the ceiling, but he looks a little bored too... ^^)

Excellent shot this week again.

as Sylvia said, I too am never disappointed when I visit here. I think perhaps one of the paintings may have pressed him into a meditative state.

He's just happy to find that comfy bench so he can give his dogs a rest. Another excellent reflection, James!

A brilliant reflection, he seems to be happily lost in another world, lucky him!

Trop bien de pouvoir s'arrêter et de regarder des oeuvres d'art en toute tranquillité, un moment unique.
Bon week-end,

Ava

Oh, I do love museums. It's wonderful to wander, alone...and get lost in the different worlds the paintings create! Hope your break is for good, adventurous reasons and that all is ok!

Just the sort of headspace a museum should inspire. The technique really enhances the subject, mood and message.
