New Hope, Pennsylvania
This shop set up tables outside with scarves, gloves and other things and they were nice enough to hang a mirror in case you want to try something on, or in my case, capture some reflections.
Have a great weekend!

I like your sharp focus on this woman's expressive face.
a great shot of a sweet lady!
Was this picture taken on the stand on the woman smiling a lot that you presented two weeks ago ? Anyway this customer looks quite happy with her futur white scarf !
Have a nice week-end, James...
I LOVE New Hope - My uncle had a shop there years ago! And I love this sweet face...I hope I age as gracefully!
It came out a beautiful portrait.
May there always be mirrors!
Took me a while James, she looks a little 'disembodied' :) Well captured indeed!
she looks as if she's found a bargain
Perfect focus, - great reflections!
That is a happy shopper and a terrific capture as always, James!! I do hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
Brilliant James!
Have a good weekend! ;-)
Your subject is extremely focused on the business of selecting a scarf! Very effective depth of field for the composition. I used to love visiting New Hope.
A great shot!Have a nice weekend!
I always like your reflections, but I especially enjoy the ones where you capture people. This one is fun!
Wonderful portrait and I do love it in color. I have a special reflection taken just for you on my blog today.

Great reflected portrait! Looks like it was a godd day to have a scarf.
She looks happy with her find!
I didn't that New Hope was in fact the actual name of a city... That why I thought it was taken on the same stand... And I thought that New Hope was a title for the scarf, in fact... I'm so silly... And a bit confused, too ^^
Thanks for correcting me, James. :)
her countenance makes me think that she is a sweetheart of a woman! how thoughtful of the shop to provide a mirror.
Bon anniversaire James !
What a beautiful clear reflection!
There is no better time than the present to unwrap your own gift...Excellent shot...
Happy Birthday James...
For a mirror shot, it was so clear with the lady looking at her scarf.
One of my pet peeves - never buy anything before I've seen it on me, lol! Endearing to see the joy of this lady in the mirror:)
You are so clever...I never would have thought to do this!...:)JP
such a delightful and delighted expression! I remember New Hope well, from childhood and the many gigs my husband played at Havanna's many moons ago:-)
I enjoyed your shot very much, James. Now I'll try to find one to post.
Thanks for keeping up Weekend Reflections!

I think this is one of your best shots James!!! Love her expression!!!

Herzlichen Gruß

A beautiful portrait and reflection of the old lady.
This is so sweet!
Ici, pas d'écharpe possible...
Tout s'envole !

Nice scarf, but I really like the hat.
How long ago did you live in Texas? The pelicans were not always so plentiful, but they have made a comeback. They were even removed from the endangered list.
J'aime beaucoup le visage de cette femme qui a l'air ravi de choisir ainsi son écharpe.
bon week end,
Ava
A belated Happy Birthday James. See... that stretched it out a wee bit longer :)
Love that face! Very interesting.
