Fiddlers Three (Weekend Reflection # 287)

Philadelphia, PA

 This is a building and some street lamps reflected in a musical instrument shop.

"Old King Cole was a merry old soul
And a merry old soul was he;
He called for his pipe, and he called for his bowl
And he called for his fiddlers three.
Every fiddler he had a fiddle,
And a very fine fiddle had he;
Oh there's none so rare, as can compare
With King Cole and his fiddlers three"
-Nursery rhyme

Don't you love it when you see something and it reminds you of a verse, or a song or a line?! I love that building is also reflected in the shiny wood of the violins. Enjoy your weekend!

I am thinking you might be dating yourself by knowing Old King Cole and his Fiddlers Three ... but that is okay because you surely did capture the essence of that old Mother Goose poem. This is just amazing, James. The reflection we all dream of getting.

What a sophisticated reflection -beautiful! Don't know many Eng/Am. children's rhymes, but this one I know - very apt:)

Fantastic reflection in a musical instrument shop...
"If I were a biddy biddy rich,
Idle-diddle-daidle-daidle man.

I'd build a big tall house with rooms by the dozen,
Right in the middle of the town..."

Good one! It's interesting how the "fiddles" follow the same angle as the building. The outlined one in the middle is particularly interesting.
