Time Marches On, Happy 2021 ! (Weekend Reflections # 588)

Newport Beach, California

My phone camera takes really bad night photos but despite that I sometimes try to take reflections pictures. I was going to delete it but the elements of darkness, light, obscurity and even a clock seem appropriate as we exit 2020 and enter a new year.

Happy New Year!

Please remember to link your specific Weekend Reflections post !

This is the place to see and share reflections. Click the rules tab above for more information.  A Reflection =  An image given back by a reflecting surface.  A PHOTOGRAPH of a REFLECTION or REFLECTIONS.

Happy New Year, James. I can tell your night photo is a reflection because all the writing is backward. I like your photo, so keep shooting night photos.

You did very well with the reflections on your phone, James!
All the best to you in 2021, and that all these crises and tensions of last year will eventually smooth out to a new normalcy this year.

Happy New Year, James. I think it is a great photo. I don't mind using my phone at night. I will admit the DSLR didn't get much use this year or even last year when we were travelling.

You found all the right symbols. BTW I have been very pleaed with the low-light performance of my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I took today's reflection photo with it.

Hope to enter this year forwards and not backwards like the clock!
Bonne Année à toi et à ceux qui t'entourent James.

I'm glad you kept the picture, despite it's not perfect, it says a lot about nights, time passing by, and feeling around the new Year.
Belated Happy 2021, cher ami! Je nous souhaite encore une belle année d'amitié par-dessus les océans! Gros bisous!
