My back was turned but I could hear a bike coming my way, so I spun around and snapped a quick picture as he zipped by. That's what I'd call a lucky shot. 😀👍
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
It's been a month since the last Covid update for my city.
Newport Beach population 86,000:
As of May 28, 2021, there are less than 50 active cases but there were 2 deaths since the last update. (total deaths 77) Hopefully the cases will go to zero soon.
I'm glad to see other towns and cities are opening up!
Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.

"Street photography, a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge."
A great B & W capture. Thanks for hosting, stay safe and have a good weekend.
Wishing you all the best!
Thought I'ld try this for street photography, in Santa Barbara. Thanks for the explanation from last week's text. I would never have come up with that! Jesh
I think he knew you were going to take his picture so he dressed for the occasion.
Seems a little spooky out there that night? Did he get your wallet as he passed by? Picket pocket going home after a day's work?
Our daughter caught a pickpocket in the Art Museum and chased him out. His target couple whose backpacks were being fingered had no idea he was behind them.
Great photo! It looks like a movie still!
Really great photo!
James, wonderful street photo. It could be a still picture from a movie. Your comment on my post was right on the money. It was an optometrist's shop window.
He looks so serious! Great shot!
où va-t-il ce cycliste habillé comme ça en pleine nuit ?
Equilibre ombres lumières très réussi. Heureusement que tu n'avais pas de flash, je n'aurais pas répondu de son équilibre!
Indeed a very lucky shot. Great in B&W.
going home from a theater?
Wow - lucky shot! It's wonderful.
