A Rainy Day in Venice (Weekend Street/Reflections # 24)

 Venice, Italy

In 2014 (5 years before last week's picture), I took this picture from the bedroom window of an apartment that I rented on Airbnb.

Have a great weekend!

Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.

Please no posed pictures, portraits, animals, etc. unless of course there is a reflection.

What a great photo, James. Nothing like Venice in the rain.

That's a neat boat, do boats come with the apartments?
We were in Venice in 2013, our last time. It was the start of our
Venice to Athens via the Black Sea cruise on the Pacific Princess.
I posted of that on my other active blog, "Jim's Little Blog".

Really like the bird's eye view here!
Raining, almost every day! Is that common for Texas at this time? The good thing is that the grass is still green! Thanks for hosting:) Jeshie2

Nice contrast between the boat and the rather somber walkway.

A great Venice capture - shows the real place, with cobbles, water, boat and the signs to guide you down the alleyways

Had hoped to take the kids to Venice last year - but alas, we all know how that panned out! Lovely shot with lines and movement and stillness.
