Checking her email? (Weekend Street/Reflections # 103)

 Florence, Italy

Cloudia's answer is correct!😄

The people in the photo were looking at The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

A couple of weeks ago I posted a picture of a crowd of people engaged in conversations, except for one woman who was looking up. This week we have a group of people looking up while two women are looking down.

Have a good weekend!

Now you can link reflections and/or street photography.

"Street photography is a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge."

Very interesting and thought-provoking image. Thanks for the clue but I still don't have a clue. Window washer? Free climber? Tightrope walker? I will have to come back later to find out.

The Gates of Paradise is the main gate of the Baptistry of Florence (Battistero di San Giovanni), located in front of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

The Porta del Paradiso, in Italian, was created by Florentine goldsmith and sculptor Lorenzo Ghiberti between 1425 and 1452 and installed in the eastern portal of the Baptistery.

This is somewhere in southern France? That door does look unique and familiar.

We seem to have the same theme today, but I know the couple in my photo are not looking at the same thing your group is. Have a great weekend, James.

Yes, we too would be looking up. The cathedral does not come into my mind when I think "Florence". That's because so vivid in my mind was when our daughter caught a pickpocket about to get into a person by us while visiting the Galleria dell' Accademia di Firenze. She shooed him away and told the tourist what was about to happen.

Very nice Street Photography! You´re a unvisible man apparently.

I suspect the people looking down have just posted a picture.

Good street shot. I think I remember those doors and that green white marble.
