Sur le quai du métro (Weekend Street/Reflections # 106)

 Lyon, France

I was trying to remember what this man had in his hands beside the magazine. I took this picture in December (2016), so it was probably a bag with a Christmas gift and two rolls of wrapping paper.

Have a good weekend!

"Street photography is a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge."

Reading the newspaper at train station is a great scene

That is a great subway shot, James. The train looks cross-eyed. Reading a newspaper waiting for a train is a classic.

It is a brochure for where he wants to shop next.
Wrapping paper rolls under the arm.
Double click slowly on the pictures.

Nice Street Candid. I like the contrast and bokeh too. Great shot!

Great shot. It looks nostalgic although it was only six years ago. Today he’d be looking at his phone.

à Lyon je préfère la marche à pied et le tram que le métro (très rarement utilisé)
