Yes, you never can tell what you might see at night in Venice. Your photo of the person crossing the bridge is a mystery. We can have fun making up stories about it.

Venice is probably safer at night than most U.S. cities. We were on a European tour by bus and hotel was back on the mainland before dark. Supper had called. The rest of the times we were cruising and for us we were back on the ships before dark.
