Around 10 years ago I had just walked out of a patisserie with a piece of Paris-Brest when I looked through a hole in the fence and saw what I thought would make an interesting photo. Sadly the patisserie permanently closed its doors last summer after 27 years, c'est la vie. Ironically, it was called "C'est la Vie."

Your photo's title made me smile. Oh yes, it is the perfect family circle. Sorry about the closing of your favorite bakery. Years ago we lost the only real bakery in town.
