Paris, France
Rain cascaded over Paris, tracing the ancient lines of the Louvre's stone facade and pooling around the glass pyramid, a modern heart beating amid the city's timeless pulse. The Arc de Triomphe du carrousel loomed faintly through the mist, its arches guarding echoes of revolutions past. The Seine, unseen but felt, murmured beneath the wet streets, weaving through a metropolis where every raindrop seemed to carry the weight of centuries—history, art, and resilience fused into the city's soul.

Looks like a very modern scene, the buildings look like pyramids
I did not know there are two pyramids there! I was fortunate to live in an im pei building society Hill towers in Philadelphia. He also built the Kennedy theater here in Honolulu on the University of Hawaii campus
Those are iconic glass pyramids, so most people know exactly where they are. Fine photo of this plaza.
Beautiful - and indeed, in B&W, it could be any time (since the pyramid was built - 80s?)
Excellent picture, great description.
great b&w, love all those diagonals.
Rain always leads for reflections James Great shot of the glass pyramids. Thanks for hosting and commenting. Have a lovely week ahead.
Wet pavement always looks beautiful and special in such a setting.
