On the run? (Weekend Street/Reflections # 263)

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

A man running, a bag, a police car—plenty of room for assumptions. I’ll let you make your own. The photo is about fifteen years old, and I don’t remember taking it at all, which suggests the reality was far less exciting than the image implies.😉

                                            Have a great weekend!

"Street photography is a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge.

very nice action shot. This could be someone late or maybe the police were looking for him.

Great action shot - reminds me of that ad for news about not seeing the full picture until you have all the details - it looks like someone is being robbed but as it keeps panning out, you see they're being saved from a building collapse

I agree with Lydia, wonderful action shot. This photo suggests many stories about why this man is running. These days it might be about ICE and injustice.

J'adore le mouvement dans cette image et surtout l'oblique de la silhouette

Love the hair position which adds to the drama of this great motion shot. Late for something perhaps? James thanks for hosting and commenting. Have a lovely week ahead

Great shot indeed. We should look at our old photos more often.
