The Last of the Colorful Leaves

After I had a blood test the other day I noticed a farm next to the medical building. I happened to have a camera in my pocket so I took a few shots. Most of the colorful leaves around Newtown have fallen already but the tree in the top photo still has some.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Beautiful scenes both. Each with their own mood. I love the architecture of the house, the lack of sidewalks, and the framing created by all the colorful leaves. The second is equally wonderful, the low horizon and that leafless tree on the right jutting into the vast sky.

Thank you for your exceptional photos of places familiar and foreign. And thank you for introducing me to the beauty of reflections. It's been a privilege to navigate the blogosphere in your company!

fantastic shots. there is something about the second one that holds my attention. here all the leaves have been gone for quite a while and everything is dull, dead and drab. but gotta love the seasons of Michigan!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!

The colors are stunning - ours just kind of dropped without being pretty this year. Sigh.

Hey James, I'm slow this week, but better late than never...

Fine fall golden leaves there ! Believe it or not, I drove home from work in the wee hours of the morning last night in a raging snowstorm. Ususally it hardly ever snows here, so snow in November is strange. So much for global warming.

Happy Thanksgiving James... Those pretty last leaves are still more colorful than any leaves we have here.
