HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
A hooded stranger, trees and the setting sun reflected in a puddle of water. (The hooded stranger was actually a teen riding a skateboard. :)

Only the bottom of the frame gives away that this is a reflection. These get cleverer by the week!
A great photo! It has a very sinister and spooky look to in B&W.
Have a great weekend James!
So sharp! Awesome, James.
Amazing, I wouldn't have thought that a reflection, great capture.
Very dramatic! Hoods give a sinister vibe. Reminds me of the Devils of Loudon.
Love this silhouette against the trees.
Really good one, it's perfect!
Also reminds me some movie scenery.Nice to know he is a teen enjoying the day! :)

thanks for clarifying that! it was rather ominous!
I like both: the picture and the explanation going with it!
Another fine image James. Love the mood, the trees, the hooded stranger...
J'ai dû regarder deux fois pour comprendre que ce n'était pas une ombre ... J'aime bien les surprises, et celle-là est belle !
Oh, this reflection looks very mysterious and enigmatic. It look like the first scene of a detective story! Always I am amazed with your photos, as they are so clear and vivid. James, have a nice weekend.
The puddles are always a source of inspiration...
Nice shot!
Very clever, indeed. I squinted, until I got it!
Amazing photo!
I love how ominous this image feels.
Oooh, kinda spooky—and very cool! Probably not an easy image to capture. Well done!
A hooded stranger and trees, all in a patch. Fantastic.
It could be a book cover from a crime story.
I'm having a lot of trouble uploading a picture for my blog's link for Weekend Reflections.
I love this reflection picture, James. It is quite lovely.
Hello, again! I was successful in uploading In a Dragon's Eye--could you delete link Number 47? That was my unsuccessful try at uploading the thumbnail.
Take care, and thank you again for hosting this wonderful weekend meme.
So spoky, James ! I just love it... And I'm quite surprise by the actually technical quality of the picture : the reflection is so clear, so neat... Nice job, once again...
(Is everything okay with the boxes ? I hope you won't hurt your back again... You must be excited : moving day is coming, isn't it ?)
Looking mysterious James -and with great precision! Have a good move:)
Very beutiful photo in black and white! Have a nice weekend :)
Very cool subject... and that it's a reflection makes is doubly cool.
Absolutely beautiful James!
Excellent backlight with beautiful reflections on the snow.
"Hooded stranger" — perfect, as Snowwhite says, for the opening of a mystery, although I have a niece who looks like that sometimes.

What a beautiful perfect reflection!
What a great, mysterious capture -- love the hooded stranger and how fun to find out it was a skateboarding teenager! You do find the great ones, James. Sorry to be late -- the move is over for the most part, but really getting settled into a place and a new area as well takes a little more time! Hope you have a great weekend and that your move is going well.

James - thanks for fixing my link - I'm having Blogger problems generally today.
Neat photo James. I like the shadow legs that almost complete the reflected ones!
My choice for Weekend Reflections is posted.
Happy Early Mother's Day to all the Moms out there.

oh, that's just a stunning photo, James...had to be quick to catch that one, I imagine! Very cool....
How FUN. Genius, in fact!
very cool
it could be a movie poster
That is really cool!
This reflection is fun, James!
Your images so often conger up a story. One wishes they would move through space and time to reveal their secrets. These are the kinds of images that stay with you long after the window is gone from the desktop.
Have a safe, fun, and photo filled trek across the U.S. I will be avidly watching from my computer to follow along if and when you get a chance to post from the road. Happy Trails!!!
I love the lighting in this photo. You'd never know the individual in the photo was on a skateboard. Nice shot.

If you didn't explain the reflection I would have thought it was someone walking beyond a small bank of snow. The pavement looked like icy snow to me - before I read your post.
Very cool!
A perfectly hidden skateboard. The angle and lighting create a mystery.
Wow how awesome!
Have a wonderful weekend James.
Regards.
James, SUPERB photo!
Beautiful, but scary too !
A great photo! Have a great weekend!
Fascinating capture.
Have a great weekend, Boonie
Hi James,
I´ve posted my reflections of Times Square, in Broadway, New York City.
An amazing city...
Greetings

Would make a great cover for an adolescent literature book! Fabulous!
Every week I come here, see your photo and gasp and think "This is James' best photo ever!"
As they say, the best just got better!
Ooh, very mysterious photo! Love this gorgeous photo!
With the bare trees this looks very scary! Boo!
It does have a mysterious look. It would make a clever book cover.
Stunning photograph! Happy Mothers Day to all our moms.
Smiles
Let us hope, the teen remember Mom's Day - if not he is going to take a long ride on the skateboarder :-D
...jeannette got me on this Weekend Reflections ;-)
I like the ambiguity!
Great image for the cover of a mystery novel, I think.
